Ashley earned her bachelor’s degree from New York’s St. John’s University after studying Communications and International Studies; courses for the latter were completed mostly in Rome, Paris, and Salamanca, with opportunity for independent travel taken advantage of whenever possible. A lifelong nomad, Ashley has lived in three cities so far in 2015.
A combination of Ashley’s curiosity towards connection with the other, artistic bent, and love and openness towards life gained partially while experiencing the freedom of youth in a blur of NYC’s nightlife, fine dining, museums, and fashion weeks led Ashley to her current creative direction. Blogging for accessories start-ups internationally, volunteering for MoMA PS1, contributing to outlets including internationally published The Untitled Magazine, serving as entertainment editor for Vogue top 100 member founded philanthropy niche lifestyle site Ask Miss A, and interviews with award wining filmmakers and actors, talented artists and designers, change-making activists, entrepreneurs, and models for platforms including her own Suite 6Ten, has been part of the journey.
At present, Ashley affiliate markets for UK based retailer Tucci, and is excited about co-writing a course for an internationally accredited online education site like Trendimi and kicking off a yoga practice in yet another city while looking to engage with the arts. She uses the pseudonym Jamie Hendrix (@_Ashtronaut) on Twitter, and lives near an aquarium with her boyfriend and their cat; failing at finding the perfect work/life/sleep balance, discussing her meals on yelp, and scouring through vintage for her immersive curatorial project/e-boutique Suite 6Ten Vintage Vibes.
