Your course includes a number of modules (depending on which course you are taking). Most course modules include 2 sections: Study and Exam. Some courses also include a third section ‘Exercise’ for practicing what you learned in the Study section before you commence to the Exam section.

In order to complete the course and receive your Free Digital Certificate, confirming course completion, you need to study all course sections and pass the course exams with a minimum score of 55% in each Module.

To login to your Virtual Campus please click to Login in the top right corner of our website - www.trendimi.com.

Once you enter your Virtual Campus please go into the course you have signed up for (Click on 'Go to Course' button ).

In order for our system to track your course progress, we ask you to click the “Save and Continue” button on each course page. The button is located in the bottom-right corner of every course page (study material, exercises, and exams). This will trigger your Course Progress details to be updated (read more about how to check your progress in “How to check my progress?”). Your course progress must show 100% in order to receive your free Digital Certificate.

Once you complete the Study section for a particular unit, we recommend that you go next to the relevant Exercises section (if applicable) and then finally to the Exam section to test your study-topic knowledge (read more about how to complete exams in “How to complete my exams”; read more about how to check your marks in “How to check my marks”; read more about your grades in “What are my final grades”).

Exam sections consist of questions to continuously assess your knowledge (based on Study/Exercise sections). In order to successfully complete your course, you need to pass exams with a combined score of at least 55% per module. You are allowed one reset per exam task free of charge.

At the end of the course, you will receive your Free Digital Certificate confirming course completion. We recommend you also read about our fabulous eBooks in “Complete Styling Kit”. Enjoy the course!

At any time during your course you can check the exact % of your course progress.

The overall course progress % is displayed in the top panel of your Virtual Campus. You will see a grey/green bar labelled “course progress”.

To see your progress % for each course module please click on “More Info” button located next to “Course progress” bar.

If a particular module is not fully completed (< 100%) you will have a further option to click on “View Unsaved Pages” to see the list of unsaved pages.

In order to complete that module you will need to go back to your course material and save any remaining pages. All course pages have to be saved for all of the study, exercise, and exams sections.

To check your score for each module please open your course material and click on “More Info” button located next to “My Marks” bar in the top panel of your Virtual Campus.

You will be able to see from here if you have passed or failed a module. To see further details on your marks click on “View Task details” and a full list of your marks will appear.

Once a module is completed and passed, you can go back to the task pages and check the correct answers by clicking on the “check results” button (on each Exam page).

If you have failed a module (received < 55% mark), you only need to resit enough tasks within that failed module to achieve the pass rate of 55%. We recommend you review details of your marks carefully before going back to the course pages to resit tasks. We also recommend that you resit tasks where you scored the lowest % to maximise your chances of achieving a 55% unit score.

On the course pages with failed tasks you will see a “resit” button instead of a “check-results” button. Please note that there’s always one resit per task free of charge, however you’ll be charged a fee if you resit the same task twice.

If you have failed the module, but cannot see “resit” button on course pages, that means you have some unsaved pages within that module. Unsaved pages can be in any of the three sections: study, exercises, exams. To read more about how to check your progress and ensure you have saved all pages read in “How to check my progress?”

On completion of the course the combined score % will be converted into one of the following grades:

  • Pass: 55% - 64%
  • Pass Plus: 65% - 74%
  • Merit: 75% - 84%
  • Distinction: 85% - 100%

Your grade and unique certificate number are displayed in the (optional) hard copy certificate only, issued by the International Council for Online Educational Standards.

In order to pass the course, you need to receive a minimum score of 55% from each unit.

To read more about completing the exams please check – “How to complete my exams?”

To start the exams please click on the “Exams” section under each module. If there is no “Exams” section under the module it means that this module is not graded.

Please complete all exam pages. Once you click “Save and Continue” you will not be able to amend your answers.

Most of the exams include single or multiple choice questions. There are some questions where you need to match the items listed in the first column with the items listed in the second column. To complete this task, click on the circle next to item from first column. Then click on the circle next to the corresponding answer in the second column and a line linking the two will automatically appear.

Your score is calculated as an average of the tasks you complete within the exam section of each module.

To read more about checking your score please go to “How to check my marks?”

A module is failed if you have completed all tasks within that particular unit with a combined score from the tasks of less than 55%.

If you have failed a module (received < 55% mark), you only need to resit enough tasks within that failed module to achieve the pass rate of 55%. We recommend that you review details of your marks carefully before going back to the course pages to resit task. We recommend you resit tasks where you scored the lowest % to maximise your chances of achieving a 55% unit score.

On the course pages with failed tasks you will see a “resit” button instead of a “check-results” button. Please note that there’s always one resit per task free of charge, however you’ll be charged an additional fee only if you resit the same task twice.

If you have failed the module, but cannot see a “resit” button on course pages, that means you have some unsaved pages within that module. Unsaved pages can be in any of the three sections: study, exercises, exams. To read more about how to check your progress and ensure you have saved all pages read in “How to check my progress?”

Resit button is placed on the actual course pages where tasks are located.

You will only see resit button if all pages within the Module have been saved (Study, Exercise, Exam) and module has been failed (you received a combined score from the tasks within that module below 55%).

If you have failed a module (received < 55% mark), you only need to resit enough tasks within that failed module to achieve the pass rate of 55%. We recommend that you review details of your marks carefully before going back to the course pages to resit task. We also recommend that you resit tasks where you scored the lowest % to maximise your chances of achieving a 55% unit score.

On the course pages with failed tasks you will see a “resit” button instead of a “check-results” button. Please note that there’s always one resit per task free of charge however you’ll be charged an additional fee only if you resit the same task twice.

Unsaved pages can be in any of the three sections: study, exercises, exams. To read more about how to check your progress and ensure you have saved all pages read in “How to check my progress?”

If the modules are already completed and passed it's no longer possible to resit.

You can only resit a module that is failed (received less than 55%)..

If you pass the module, you can go back to each task and check the correct answers by clicking on ‘check result’ button at the bottom of every task. Since you have access to all answers, it would not be fair to allow any students to resit modules that have been successfully passed.
